Start on your knees, stand up naturally: Kneel on the board, accelerate gently, and when the board lifts by itself, stand up as naturally as getting up from a chair.
Your weight is the steering wheel: Stand tall, feet shoulder-width apart. Lean slightly forward to go, shift weight to toes or heels to turn.
Falling is safe: Press your back foot gently to slow down—the board will settle back on water. If you fall, go sideways, feet first, away from the sharp foil underneath.
Control the wing with your arms, capture the wind power, and drive the hydrofoil board to "fly" above the water.
The waist belt connects you to the board, sharing the wing's load. When foiling, pull transfers to your core, letting you use body weight—not arm strength—to counter the wind, drastically cutting fatigue.
